Hello! I'm Bev, I grow and create locally grown seasonal flowers for eco-conscious couples marrying across the North East of England.
I specialise in creating nature-led designs for couples who want their wedding to look incredible and feel true to what they believe in.
When it comes to floristry, I believe the right thing is to be sustainable, I mean, you'd think flowers would be sustainable, right?
Unfortunately florist shop flowers can be far from it!
I do everything possible to create flowers with sustainability at the helm, but sustainability here doesn't mean compromising on the beauty of your day, far from it!

Bev | Flower grower, florist & creative director
The seed-sower, colour-lover and the one with the dream. Usually found in the garden looking into space with her dressing gown on and a cup of tea, dreaming up what the flowers might become.
Your wedding flowers start with Bev, she understands the atmosphere you want to create, the colours you love, the details that make it yours. She'll bring the floral expertise, the seasonal know-how and the creative thinking to turn your vision into something extraordinary.
From the first seeds sown in the garden to the flowers on your wedding day, she cares deeply about how it all comes together.

They've got small hands, big ideas and a front-row seat to the magic of watching things grow. They're a big part of why Bev wanted to build a business with more nature, more freedom and more time for what matters.
Work here happens around their needs, nap times and school runs and they wouldn't have it any other way.
Flopsy and Derek (the bunny rabbits) | Head composters
Enthusiastic supporters of the natural cycle of things. Particularly when the cycle involves leafy snacks. Their composting credentials are excellent but they'll compost the flowers too if we let them.
Living in our back garden and free to roam, just not onto the flower beds, they keep the grass cut and holey too.

Maker of mechanics, and master of the power tools, the person Bev calls when an idea needs building.
Mr Sown on the North Coast is the muscle behind our operation, from doing most of the heavy lifting to making things from wood.

We see floristry as an art, we just happen to create art with flowers but it would not be complete sometimes without the help of others.
